Adrian Bondy is a English mathematician, born in London. He was a university professor in Canada from 1968 to 1994, and then in Lyon, France until 2009. He started taking photographs as a child, but took up the activity more seriously in 1982 during a stay in Paris. In the eighties, he exhibited regularly, notably at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery in Ontario. The idea of opening a photo gallery dates from that period. In 2010, he founded the non-profit association Mind's Eye whose aim is to reflect upon the conceptual links between mathematics and photography.
